Job Purpose
The Procurement and Payment Administrator is responsible for the procurement process (PO/PR) creation, supplier invoices process and payment requests. This role involves coordinating with various departments to meet their procurement needs, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
Role and Responsibilities
- Procurement:
- Create procurement requests on ERP.
- Receive supplier invoices and process recording it AP with Finance
- Create Receipts and Work confirmations.
- Create requisition of payment based on due dates and payment terms.
- Maintain and update procurement records and vendor databases.
- Coordination and Compliance:
- Coordinate with various departments to understand and fulfill their procurement needs.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements in all purchasing activities.
- Supplier Relationship Management:
- Maintain sound working relationships with vendors to ensure responsive service and timely resolution of all issues.
- Manage the receipt of goods, verifying quantities and quality, and coordinating returns or exchanges for defective or incorrect items.
Qualifications and Education Requirement
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Procurement, or a related field. Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Familiarity with procurement software and tools. Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities/ Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
