Job Purpose
to ensure the continuous monitoring of an organization’s network, systems, and security infrastructure, detecting and responding to security events in a timely manner. This role serves as the initial point of contact for security alerts, ensuring that incidents are appropriately categorized and escalated when necessary.
Role and Responsibilities
- Basic Understanding of Security: Familiarity with common security tools (e.g., SIEM, antivirus, firewalls) and network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, HTTP).
- Attention to Detail: Ability to quickly detect irregularities or anomalies in logs and traffic.
- Analytical Thinking: Basic troubleshooting and analysis skills to validate security alerts and determine their severity.
- Good Communication: Clear reporting and communication skills, both for internal escalation and reporting incidents.

Qualifications and Education Requirement
•Bachelor’s Degree: A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field is often preferred.
