Job Purpose
This role involves providing administration and technical support for production systems. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Web technologies specially IIS and tomcat.
Role and Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain all aspects of production systems to ensure optimal performance and availability.
- Carry on administrative and configuration tasks such as patching, log analysis, deployments, performance tuning
- Participate in DR drills and projects related to the domain
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Collaborate with development teams to implement solutions and prevent future problems.
- Adhering to service level agreements (SLAs) and operational objectives
Qualifications and Education Requirement
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field. Technical qualifications: More than 5 years of experience in supporting and operating production environments using various Microsoft technologies. Hands on experience with administration and configuration tasks of at least two of the following IIS, Apache Tomcat, Apache web server, SharePoint or relevant web technologies. Hands on experience with .Net and Azure devops is a plus Experience with troubleshooting tools and techniques. Knowledge of infrastructure components and systems, including operating systems (Linux, Windows), networking, and security Understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Familiarity with ITIL framework and IT service management processes, particularly incident, problem, and change management
Education
